Our names are Tom and Shelly Doty.  We live in Goehner Nebraska.  We have always enjoyed fishing together. In 2021 our passion for crappie fishing drove us to the tournament trails for the first time.

We purchased a brand new Vexus AVX189C boat to replace the 16’ John boat we fished out of for years. Our preferred style of fishing is spider rigging or jigging brush piles.

We currently use 16’rods for spider rigging and 10’ for jigging, Pro Tuff plastics, and Dark Side Crappie Co. custom hair jigs.

We are excited to start the 2022 Nebraska Crappie Masters trail and qualifying events as well as the Crappie USA events in Kansas and Missouri.
